The broken dolls sit on a rocking chair, Loved beyond compare. And new ones on the way. Stored in a box, and forgotten on days, When in certain ways, Things would be happier, with fresh pie and good news. They would sit with their lace lined frocks, flowing auburn locks.Β Until they felt a hug, a kiss. They would someday reminisce. Now scars on her cheek, her dress needs a tweak, As does her auburn hair. Loved beyond repair. And new ones on the way.

Beautiful poem, you are very talented, natural.
I like the emotion that the poem brings with it. Dark reality of life – old gives way to new !
Beautiful emotions, old order changes into the new one.
Keep on writing, you have talent
AMAZING!! Rivika you are SO talented!!
Thatβs incredibly poignant Rivika!
π±π±π± AMAZINGGGG
Beautifully deep and moving.. I too have a quirky obsession with dark things so this poem felt kind of relatable. You have so much more talent than you let on Rivika, I’m so proud of you for taking it to a whole new level! Congrats!! (We know each other, in case you were wondering).
Great ideas and view on the darker sides of life. This poem has great underlying themes of the relatable feelings of loneliness and abandonment.
Spot on with this write-up, I really suppose this web site wants rather more consideration. Iζ£l probably be once more to read much more, thanks for that info.
Why you write on broken dolls..why not on smiling dolls or people ….your poem should be inspiring & must give smile on one’s face
